Kay (Hollenbeck) Hoflanders popular column Full Circle appears each Thursday in The Examiner, a daily newspaper serving Independence and Blue Springs, Missouri. Her columns also are published in other Eastern Jackson County communities. She began writing Full Circle in 2005 when she became an "empty nester" and found herself with some free time on her hands.
